Home Grown Veggies

Yesterday I had a salad for lunch straight from my own garden. It is amazing the difference in taste compared to store bought veggies. I lost many of my tomatoes to disease this year, but some clung on literally for dear life. From 6 plants, I picked ten tomatoes with more still ripening. Considering I was gone for more than a month of the summer, I am pleased with the outcome.
Today I am planning a garden overhaul including weeding overgrown beds. I am going to take a chance seeding some fall crops even though I may have waited too late to plant. I also want to prepare beds for my garlic and tend to some mustard plants that have gone to seed. I hope this will be enough to keep me from having to order more mustard next year. These plants have been very hardy and the woodchucks have left them alone. Anyone know any good recipes using uncooked mustard greens?
